Stock wiring in a TR6 uses a high resistance wire from the ignition to the
coil. This wire functions as a ballast resistor. I don't know if TVR used
this wire in its loom. If it did, then you run the risk of having two
ballast resistors installed. Hopefully the factory wiring diagram identifies
this.
