Well, it finally happened to me. The driver side rear stub axle on my LHD
1970 Vixen S2 broke. It broke on Sunday afternoon as I was exiting Oak Tree
Turn (in third gear) at VIR.
The good news is that the car did not dig in and roll over. The bad news is
the complete upright assembly needs replaced. The body needs some work, but
that is not a concern.
So, what are my options for upgrading the rear uprights/axles on my round
tube Vixen?
I know this topic has been discussed many times, but I never paid attention.
