AustinBob,
 What they are probably referring to is the gear drive Toyota starter,
which would need to have an adaptor plate fabricated to mount to your
motor. An S2000 racer/mechanic here does that for the Ford motors used
in S2, Formula Ford, and Formula Continental. It also works for Lotus
using Ford blocks. I believe it is also the starter motor sold by JAE
and others that have a less-expensive version of the Tilton Super
Starter. It is the pre-engaged type of starter that uses a
gear-reduction motor, and a solenoid engaged starter gear, rather than
the direct drive, and intertial engagement of the Lucas unit.
