Can anyone point me in the direction of recommended engine
swap books that will assist me in determining if I'm totally mad
or maybe just a little crazy? I'm contemplating inserting a GM
built V6 with f.i. into a Mitsubishi Montero 4X4 circa 1985.
Amazon.com lists around 1/2 dozen books available, stopped
at my local B&N public reading library yesterday and they had nothing
on the shelves on the topic. The swap will entail all the normal
problems of a swap plus going from 5sp to automatic (an adapter
from trans to transfer case is available - very $$) and from carb to
TPI or other from of fuel injection with computer.
Also, does anyone know of someone who has done a similar swap?
If they are out of the rest home already, I'd like to talk with him (her?)
