RE: Castrol R

Do remember that you should NEVER mix Castrol R with any other oil
(mineral or synthetic). Ideally you should strip a motor between changing,
but use a flushing oil as a minimum

Appart from the smell, there is a very sensible application for "R" where
even modern synthetic are not considered as good, and that is on roller
bearing cranks
