Rick, MTL is the designation that Redline affixes to their transmission oil.
NS is a suffix that they use to denote tranny oil formulated for use in
transmissions using brass baulk rings that depend on friction to work, i.e. to
match the gear speeds so that they can engage w/o grinding.  Hope this helps.
