Can any one help ID this Race Car
2 Seater. 96" Wheelbase 39 Ford front suspension transverse leaf
spring. Later Ford rear end, transverse leaf spring. Built in 52 or 53?
supposed to have been built by Goosenbaer in the AK Miller racing
garage, one of 2 or 3. Suppose to have been run in the 1953 La Carrea
Pan Am. Suppose to have spent time in the Philippines. Styled from
several cars, front nose like an AC, side similar to a 250 Ferrari ~~~,
rear end similar to 53 Corvette ~~~~. All steel welded hammered body.
No engine or trans installed now. Molded (into door) 1/4" plexeglass
wind wings. Hood scoop. Side pipes molded into both side lower rockers.
No outside door handles. No windows or side curtains. Has steel hard top
but probably not orginal. Must have been dipped, 99.9% paint gone, maybe
one drip of yellow & one of black left.
