Are roller rockers OK?

I have had a call from a racer who claims he cannot find non-roller rockers
for a BMC A-series that won't break. He says most other vintage groups are
allowing roller rockers in production car classes. We at CVAR do not. Any of
you having the same problem, and how do your clubs feel about it?
