Without knowing where you are I would first suggest getting in touch
with an vintage racing organization in your area. Most groups tend to be
regional. If you are planning to build a vintage racer they will let you
know what will be allowed for your TR to remain "vintage"... at least
for your region. They will also be able to get you in touch with vintage
racing Triumph people you can hit up for advice...

There a couple of good reference books available for you to look over.
Namely VINTAGE RACING start to finish, by Jim McCarthy (pub RPM
Enterprises, LTD Motorsporst International Publishing Company), and
VINTAGE RACING VINTAGE BRITISH SPORTS CARS by Terry Jackson (pub, Robert
Bentley, Publishers). There are many web sites available, just do a web
search.

Periodicals include VICTORY LANE MAGAZINE, Monthly, 2460 Park BLVD, Palo
Alto, CA 94306, and VINTAGE MOTORSPORTS MAGAZINE, 42 Digital Dr., Suite
#5 Novato CA 94949...

Good luck! write if you need more info
