Has anybody played with the same type of system used in powdercoating: 
Putting 50,000 +/-VDC between the car and the spraygun?? 
It seems this system is used and the paint is attracted to the car with 
minimum overspray. Seems simple enough but one would need to learn about 
keeping themselves away from the car!!
I've got lots of high voltage/low amperage power supplies but have little 
information about the methodology.
