hi seen some of the messages regarding wheels other parts in magnesium or
aluminium alloys floating around and might be able to help, hope this doesnt
break the rules as a bit commercial advertising

we are a uk foundry (sand casting in magnesium or aluminium alloys) and
specialise in manufacturing for historic motorsport i.e. one offs and low
volume e.g. wheels, sumps, crankcases, gearboxs, you name it we cast it
everything from Healey's to Maseratis, Bentley to Ferrari etc We supply
patterns and machining services as well. - Thats the advert done

I do tend to know, or know of, who's doing what in manufacturing for
historics or who has patterns etc particularly in the UK.

You guys in historic racing and restoration tend to either be secretive with
each other, or as to be expected with small companies working in isolation
dont realy communicate, so duplicate each others efforts. As someone in the
middle i try to guide people in the right direction when we know someones
already doing what their looking for (two patterns dont make twice the
volume of work for us just moves the same limited work around a bit)

One of our customers makes wheels (mag and ally) minilites you may care to
