Listers,
The VIR Club (Track) sponsored Wed Oct. 11 test day was cancelled this
week. A note from the track indicates that it was cancelled for lack of
attendance at the Wed test day before the HSR event there in July, (my
fault, and that teaches me for skipping the July Wed test day!), hence
making the track available for rental by Marc's group on Oct 11. In
addition, the Friday, November 3, test day was cancelled, as the event
following it is not a race, rather a Solo I and drivers school event.
Remaining Track sponsored test days at VIR are now Friday, Sept 15, and
Friday Oct 20.
I haven't heard if the Thursday SVRA day is part of the weekend like it
is at Watkins Glen, or if it is an extra-cost separate test day, like
Thursday was for the HSR weekend. However it turns out, the SVRA event at
VIR is a must-do event, and please look me up in the paddock if you come
down for it.
