My wife ( a wonderful experience being married to a car nut too) has given me a
"car lift" of
my choice as a birthday present. Suspect she got tired of my complaining about
car
stands and
the horrors of lifting low clearance vehicles.
There appears to be two choices, a two post with pads, or a drive on four post
with
long
ramps...any comments on, or off, list would be most appreciated since I have not
worked with
either kind of lift. The race car is a small British one, but would like to
use it
for a street rod
too. After talking to a few dealers, am thoroughly confused on what is best.
I do
not need it
for storage, just extended work typically required to keep a race car
maintained.
