Hello All:
Been tossing around the idea of putting an alloy head on my sprite ( yes I
know its not vintage allowed, but is street allowed...)
I'm building a 948 into a 998, boring out .625, with 998 pistons and 1098
rods.
My question is, can I use the 1275 head with my 948, with the 1275 valves,
without doing modifications to the 948 block??? I can do the eyebrow
cuts in the top of the block for the valve clearance.... my concern was did
major items have to be changed to fit the head.
The catalogues state that they fit 948, 1098, and 1275 motors, I just
didn't believe them totally.
