Larry,

Here's a couple of possiblities;

Apple Hydraulics:  They rebuild Armstrong lever shocks for "ordinary" LBCs,
maybe they can rebuild the shocks for your GT40.

TruChoice:  They rebuild the vintage "non-rebuildable" Konis, perhaps they
can help you with your Armstrongs.

Failing both of those, I'd buy/steal/borrow a copy of the current issue of
Hemmings - there's got to be somebody out there that does this sort of
stuff.

I need to get the original Armstrong shocks off my GT 40 P/1005 rebuilt.
 Yes, I know there are much better units out there for the application,
but this car was a LeMans factory car and needs to stay original.  any
suggestions appreciated.
