On a lighter note ..........
I see, Greg, that you have a SAAB Sonnet. The only time
I've ever heard myself laughing inside my helmet was
following a Sonnet - and I was laughing at myself not at
the Sonnet.
I was in my Formula Ford at the time and following a
Sonnet. As we came to the Carousel at Elkhart Lake I wanted
to pass, couldn't decide which side and couldn't be certain
he had seen me and so stayed right behind him - thus
restricting my forward vision. Next thing I knew there were
stones and rocks showering up at me. Yes - the Sonnet had
gone "off" and I had followed him "off". Me to self "You
blithering idiot - that's a beginners mistake." Big grin.
Big laugh. Still a beginner after 35 years!
