If rotor is making physical contact with any part of the cap, you have a fau=
lty or wrong rotor. Plug wires: 1342 going counterclockwise and #1 near 1 & 2=
 o'clock, vacuum advance pointing near 10-11 o'clock?=20

I didn't think it possible to get dist'r shaft in the key way the wrong way =
 but maybe worth checking.=20
