Yes, Jeff at Advanced Distributors is very knowledgable about Petronix, Crane
and all the ignition stuff.   Talked to him last week when he re-built and
re-curved my Lucas.   He found serious issues with wornout advance springs and
the Crane setup under the cap was off.  Take your cap off carefully he advises
as Crane mechanism easily disturbed.   Also many year accumulation of oil
and crap in the distributor was cleaned.   Timing was seriously off, as he
said, I had a miss I couldn't find.

I have the Crane 3000 setup, which he
likes.   It'll be fun to get going with the new distributor to complement my
other engine upgrades.
