At the very least, you need to look further into this problem.

I'd pull the hubs and check them out on a bench.

BTW, this would be a "good time" to upgrade to the Goodparts hubs...

Chances are if the hubs are "that sloppy" you'll need to replace parts 
other than just the bearings that you'd use in a rebuild. It doesn't take 
too much of a stretch to spend a lot of money on the rebuild.

Just saying.
