HI Dave-
Which car?  The TR6 spring clip detent points to 9 o'clock.  It is centered between the turn signal canceling tabs for the turnsignal switch.
Can't answer for the TR3 as I am not familiar with it.

 Subject: [NET] Turn Signals

Hey all;

I find that my turn signals no longer cancel reliably after making a turn.
And, I can't recall: Is the detent on the spring clip (on the steering column)
supposed to 'point' to the 12 o'clock position or the six o'clock? Not sure
why it moves out of position from time-to-time.....

Thanks for any help!
