[Autox] On-Star makes car theft impossible?

Then my question is:  How did they steal the truck? Did someone leave the
key in the ignition?  If the Fords have an anti-theft system like the GM
trucks how did the thieves were able to start the vehicle and drive it off?
Either they had the appropriate key or it was towed. Hotwired, I doubt it.

Ford trucks have this, too,  I had a duplicate key made for my '03 F150 
shortly after I bought it -- only to find that it would unlock the doors 
and the tailgate but it wouldn't start the truck.
