      Hi Bob-

      I wish to thank you and Millie profusely for welcoming me on your tour
to Astoria.  I enjoyed meeting many old friends, and meeting your newer people
too.  The weekend was very well planned, so relaxed, and enjoyable. I had a
blast, and I know I will try to make all the future NW meets coming up.

      Cascade seems to be doing well, and for that I am thankful.  It was only
a dream when I put an ad in The Times back in 1974 asking Healey owners to
come for a picnic, but you all have kept the flame burning for these great
cars, using them the way dear old Donald Healey ( "call me Don") intended.   I
am having a good time with my '57 Bel Air and the aging hot rodder set, but
there is always the possibility of another Healey in my future.   I spent from
age 21 to age 50 with some kind of a Healey, and maybe when I hit 70 I will
get another one for my final 30 years on the planet. Or 40 years....who
knows?

      Looking forward to seeing you on the road in the future. Please pass my
thanks on to Jim and Arline and everyone else in Cascade.
