The sixth annual Kirkland Concours d9Elegance returns to Carillon Point in
Kirkland on Sunday, September 7th from 9am to 4pm. The all-volunteer event
continues its9 goal to raise money for uncompensated children9s care at
Children9s Hospital and Evergreen Healthcare. The event contributed
$900,0000 in its first five years and seeks to contribute over $200,000 in
2008.

This wonderful blending of art, engineering and history includes a display
of nearly one hundred automobiles built over more than one hundred years.
There are classic wooden boats and antique motorcycles as well. Entrants
come from private collectors and museums across the United States and Europe
and feature many rare, unique and historically significant motorcars, wooden
boats and motorcycles. . This year9s featured class is 3Lipstick Red
Convertibles2 and is certain to please. The Kirkland Concours has evolved
into nationally recognized event which begins with a two-day Tour d9
Elegance followed by a gala and auction. The tour will begin on Bainbridge
Island, explore the Olympic Peninsula and return via ferry. The elegant gala
will conclude with fireworks.

Event details can be found at www.kirklandconcours.com. Tickets and
contributions are tax deductible. The event and its9 idyllic setting is
enjoyed by individuals of all ages. Please come and enjoy this event and
help make a difference.
