Ones who read my last article which also describes our BJ7 brake problem at
Vashon last summer will now notice that the real problem was not the dirt but
corroded disc brake pistons. After the article I checked them and they
definitely need replacing. After cleaning the the old chrome ones the brakes
worked fine. I ordered SS pistons from Moss and they were here when we arrived
on the 2nd of October. BUT, the rubber repair kit was on a long back order.
Victoria British don't have them. My check in internet did produce one
company
with an offer but I did not order. Can someone let me know three reliable
sources for this part. The rubbers in there look good but I sure would like to
put in new ones (assuming they are not from a backyard Bangladash shop).
