Sunday Drive

Hi Cascaders!
After being rained out of the Mt Baker trip last weekend, it was
wonderful to have blue sky the last few days.  Phil decided yesterday
that a Sunday drive was called for, and Bob+Marilyn Cole, Lois+Neil
Buhman, and Carlos Cruz+Ollie the Lab joined us for an excursion on back
roads thru Snohomish, Machias, lunch in Granite Falls, Mountain Loop Hwy
to Big Four Mtn picnic area, back thru Granite Falls, south past Lake
Roesiger and in to Monroe where we chose our own routes home.  Warm when
we stopped, and crisp when on the road (hats and earmuffs were in
order!).  A great day even tho I didn't have time to make cookies!
