I will be visiting my Mom in WV that weekend, and Zoe will be visiting her

leaving Southcenter at 8:00 Saturday, August 7.

The Oregon Club will be joining us. Get your
reservation at the Seasons Motel in
Morton now so you do not miss out.
1-360-496-6835.  There is no block being held
so you are on your own.

We
will leave Morton Seasons Motel parking lot at 11:00 Saturday, August 7th 
for
the Mt. St. Helans Windy Ridge Visitors Center.  If you have not been to 
this
viewing point, it is great.  The drive is about 35 miles of winding paved 
two
lane roads virtually on the side of the mountains.  The viewpoint is closer 
to
the mountain than the Johnson Ridge one, and about the same elevation. 
Bring
binoculars.  The park service provides a 25 minute talk about the eruption 
and
takes questions.  We are leaving Morton Seasons Motel parking lot at 11:00 
so
that we can be at the view point before 1:00 for a picnic lunch.  So bring
your
lunch as there is no where to buy it up there.


Dinner is to be at
the Daniels Cabin, in Onalaska at 6:00 PM.

BBQ style Pot Luck, maincourse is
on us.

Bring your own drink, liquor is acceptable.

Bring a dinner course per
below, last name beginning with:

or Appetizers

L thru PPotato or Pasta

Q thru ZDessert

Cascade Club is
staying at the Seasons Motel in Morton Saturday Night.  Others
are welcome to
join.

The second day, Sunday August 8th we are planing to take a tour to the
train
depot and ride a steam train into the foothills, near Mineral.
Leave Morton at 9:00.

Arrive at Elbe at 10:00 for Train Ride.

Lunch in Elbe.
