Northwest Meet in Silverton, Oregon

October 4th or 5th to Sunday the 7th is the annual Northwest Meet.  It is a
very relaxed meet with no car show, formal tech sessions, auction, etc.  There
is a welcome reception on Friday night and a dinner Saturday with tour options
during the day.

Tour one:  leaving Wed. the 3rd and driving down the coast of Oregon.  Two
meeting/departure places:  exit 127 off of I-5 the Starbucks across from
McDonalds--    LEAVING THERE AT 9 AM
or Clarkes Restaurant in Cosmopolis/Artic area on highway 101 (731 US 101)
meeting around 11 AM and having lunch.  Will depart after lunch for the
Surfrider Resort south of Lincoln City. (1-800-662-2378) We will stay
overnight at the Surfrider and depart for Silverton Thursday morning.  Route
to be determined.

Tour two:  LeaderbLarry Zessin   Meet at Scotty Bbs diner (599 Sussex Ave.
in Tenino) old hwy 99 and hwy 507. .  Will leave at 8 am and take back roads
to McMinnville to view the Spruce Goose and then head to Silverton.

If you have another date and route in mind and would like others to join you,
please let me know.

Please contact Lois if you plan to join tour one and Larry if you plan to join
him on tour two.  Everyone is welcome.  It is more fun and a bit safer to
travel with other Healeys. (oh, BJ 9s are welcome too).
