[Roadsters] License plate lamp

I was installing the rear bumper last night.  It looks like there were two
wires coming off the harness where the lamp is.  One is obvious, since it has
the bullet type plug connector.  But the other one I am guessing is a ground
that I put under the screw (on the bumper) for the license plate lamp.  Can
anyone verify that this is correct?
