Tires will need to be replaced.
You MAY need all new hydraulics for the brakes and clutch. Inspect very 
carefully here.
What condition are the disks and drums in?
Inspect shock shafts for rust.
Check rubber boots on all suspension parts.
Any signs of head gasket leaks?
Have you done a compression test?
How much of the work are you going to do?

There is usually a huge difference in $$$$ between being "made to run" and 
"drive it".........

That being said, mechanical is usually cheaper than bodywork, so if it's got 
a good solid body and is 99% complete, you're further ahead than a lot of 
roadster owners.
