[Roadsters] Fuel Line size

 Throw into the mix that I was told the 2000 fuel pump has a different inlet size than the 1600 pump. Anyone care to verify?

Gasoline is essentially incompressible, so the fuel pressure will not 
contribute to a difference in pressure loss upstream and downstream of the 
pump.  Differences in fluid velocity will, but I doubt that the use of the 
same size line upstream and downstream of the pump will make any difference 
in fuel delivery.  But then, I'm not the engineer who designed the system, 
so what do I know?  Why the difference in line size?  Beats me.?
