Dave,

No worries.  To the best of my knowledge, it's always been there.  The 
car was my Dad's before I got it, but I doubt he put it in.  He knows 
even less about cars than I do, if that's possible.  I'm pretty sure 
that rad has never been touched.

Are there Roadster radiators that don't have drains?  My '68 is the only 
one I've ever had that close of a look at.
