[Roadsters] Body/frame alignment question

The stupid obvious question: Are the flares the same size on both sides of the car? Or was a rear quarter replaced with a different year's sheet metal?

How much 'slop' is there in the frame/body location?  If I loosen up the body
can I slide it over about > inch to even things up?  If not, any other ideas?
