[Roadsters] Datsun-roadsters Digest, Vol 6, Issue 188

Fergus ,

All 70-83 Z cars have 14" wheels except the Datsun Turbo 280 ZX has 15" 
wheels just like a TR-6 .There are 2 types .The 1981 style used only 1 
year and the 82-83 version .Some call the 1981 style similar to 
honeycomb and the late style ,a German Swastika design . The thing is 
that since Z wheels are getting scarcer by the minute ,for quality used 
ones that are aluminum (Restoration usually costs as much as the wheels 
,caps are NLA ,and new Lug nuts are expensive !) If he would consider 
just steel wheels ,those usually don't command the prices of the stock 
alloys . As far as bolt pattern and offsets ,for the Tr ,your on your 
own for research ,except I do know for Sure ,that a MG-B uses the same 
14 inch wheels used in racing 240 -280 Z cars . I would just buy a set 
of Panasports , Minilites ,Revolution or Empis .....
