[Fot] Tranny synchros...

Don't throw away good OEM synchros.  I have rebuilt several trannies for 
local club members (Green Country Triumphs).  Most guys want new 
synchros, so if their old ones were still good, guess where they ended 
up (this was my only payment)?  The worst I've seen are the ones from 
Vicky Brit, the others seem comparable. I have found NOS on ebay.  I 
have not tried UK sources, BFE or Quantum.

The "don't throw away" advice also applies to other parts, e.g. OEM 
valve lifters.  It seems that the older the car, the more iffy the 
replacement parts become.
