Great people out there in Germany .... really, very special bunch.

I just got home and parked 3VC in the garage after a rapid dash back from
Germany, through Belgium and northern France. What a weekend ! even managed
to find all the speed traps on the E40 and stay out of their way all the way
home.

And a very special thanks to Chris for all the hard work he put into making
this happen in Europe. No one else could have done this and it was a
pleasure to have his company and that of Kas and Peggy all weekend. Lots and
lots of laughs. Im sure the other guys from the UK will say the same but ill
leave that to them - and a big hurrah for Keith & Josh Files and Steve Hall
who took home a pot with their triple driven TR6.

Im still remembering the drive of my life, over a big fat Gin; first time in
round the Nordschliefe in my existence, in the pouring rain, sideways
mainly, with a rally car on 60 spoke wires and road tyres ...... now ill be
telling that story for a long time.

All the best, let us know when the Eagles land back in California.

Kas and Peggy were here at the Ring and pleased the crowd with their
attendance.
He was very asked for autographs and telling stories, even a TV team did
interview him and the track speaker took him to the control tower to do some
comments about CanAm cars which were on the track at that very moment.

A number of his current book was sold out in about 3 hours, all signed.

I dared to take Peggy and Kas around the track with the race car.
I know I know....how could I do this to take these treasured people on the
track but the speed was medium fast as it was very wet.
Once the cars rear escaped when Peggy was onboard when we left Karussel but
it made a big smile on her face which I saw on her face at the center
mirror.

Kas comment about the track was short: AMAZING!

All people were amazed about his very interesting comments about car
technique.

He did also made the price giving.
BTW...the Kastner Cup was given to Mario Neumann who won the Triumph
Competition overall.
He had the best tactic....driving fast but not too fast while the others
were to inconsistent with their driving in a 3H race.

Reports that Kas and Peg landed in Frankfurt are not greatly exaggerated.

Hired car and welcoming committee on hand to greet.....

Expect comprehensive reports from the European Kastner Cup, shortly.

There is going to be some very close and competitive racing among our
offshore Triumph FOT.

We are getting very GLOBAL
