[Fot] TR6 oil consumption issue during break in.

Did they install seals on the intake valve guides?  Were the valve guides
checked for clearance?  High intake manifold vacuum that the engine
experiences at idle may be drawing oil through the guides and into the
combustion chamber.  Have you checked compression or done a leak down test
yet?  This would help determine whether the rings have anything to do with the
smoking.  If you have a compression gauge, try a test (throttle plates open)
and then test again after squirting a little bit of oil in through the plug
holes to help seal the rings.
