A pump grease gun can be employed in similar manner. I do the same for brake calipers (and slave cylinders too)that are rusted and seized. Made a fitting that threads into the caliper and has a zerk on the end of it. Works better than 95% of the time.

Find a punch that’s very close to the diameter of the pilot—an old input shaft is great. Take a bunch of toilet paper, soak it in water and push it into the bushing. When you can’t push more, use the punch to hammer it in, then add more. Keep repeating until the pressure of the wet paper pushes out the bushing. Sounds crazy, works great. Just did it recently.

Hello all- Any advice on how to remove a GT6 pilot bushing? The flywheel is removed and the engine is still in the car? Thanks-- Jay De Pol_______________________________________________
