Geoff, That’s a street tire. Never seen one of those.

Correct. Advan 50’s are not made in 15” with 60 profile. 50 only.
A048’s are now a superseded product in Australia. So if you use advan 48’s? You’re going to have to change sooner or later.

AO50 are not available in a 205/60/15
There is a new advan available in a new compound AO52  in this size  said to be even better

I like the Yokohama's that I run on my TR4. They don't seem to fall off like the speedsters   I'm told they have been discontinued  so maybe they are on sale???  ADVAN A048

My TR3, which I have now been racing for 30 years but which has been absent for nearly 4 years will be at Summit Point in two weeks.  Still gathering input as to what tires I should acquire to run on it.  I had a set of Speedsters a few years back but I managed to turn them to butter in less than 3 laps.  They became nearly useless.  It was like driving in the rain at that point.  Dont  know if it was driving style (a bit sideways) or just the compound itself.  I'd appreciate any advice on what direction to head.

I see they have me grouped with all of my FV buddies.  That should be quite wierd.

I realize this is not about a Triumph vehicle, but Nutty Ole Mike Jackson is a Triumph guy at heart even if he races Volkswagens too.

He is now famous (or most likely infamous) as he and his Shadowfax Formula Vee made the latest issue of Vintage Motorsport.  Check it out, call him soon his head is swelling as you read this and he might not be able to talk to us lowly Triumph folks for long LOL!!!!
