[Fot] Tr6 vs TR250 weight

I found some of my weight specs on my stock-body 73.
Had it down to 2216 (dry) at one point, I don't have noted what wheels/tires I was running at the time, minimal interior otherwise not lightened.
Also have a sheet on another 73 street car, alloys but I cant remember if it had soft top & frame but it's 2365 (unknown fuel load).
The 2491 may be based on later cars, they got heavier...

My full race 1970 TR6, which is not radically stripped and drilled, weighs exactly 2,200 lbs.

all the usual sources have Tr6s listed at 2491 lb and the TR250 at 2165 lb.  I'm thinking about a TR6 vintage racer but puzzled as to why there would be such a weight penalty.  Anybody racing one of these that can tell me what theirs weighs?
