The AN or NAS bolts are used in the aviation industry, each one is inspected and top quality. The best feature is that the shank (portion under the head that is not threaded) is available in any length in increments of .063" (1/16"). You never have the threads in shear. The AN washers are available in .063" and .032" thickness and there are nyloc nuts and mechanical lock nuts. 
They are more expensive but no better quality available. You can buy 1 bolt or quantity.
