[Fot] Triumph Dog Box

I’ve been running a quailed box that Tony Garmey built for me for about six or seven years. There is a cheaper version but you can’t by parts for it. Sells as a unit. I used to rebuild my transmissions frequently and was prepping to switch to Toyota five speed when Tony suggested the Quaife. Couldn’t be happier with it. I had some shifting issues at the CRC race so I pulled the cover to check the dogs. They look great. It was just the shifter getting sticky. The Quaife wasn’t cheap to buy but I would have spent many times more if I stuck with synchro boxes, even though I have a Hardy Prentice built box that shifts like warm butter.
