Hi all:
Kas asked me to make a quick comnent on the race.

The  Linney video compilation is extraordinary.   The race started cleanly enough.  The three leaders mueller, garmey and knight were duking it  out in front. I had a ring side view watching them in fourth position.   After about two laps Ken knight had a mechanical issue slowed and eventually pulled off course near the sweeper.    That left john mueller and Tony Garmey in front. After a couple of laps I was able to pass Tony on the inside of the sweeper just before the Esses.   Tony was to recapture that position on the next lap at riverside corner due to traffic interference. He and Mueller were neck and neck.   I passed once again and was behind Mueller when at the Truck stop turn Mueller got out of sorts and off track.  Made lots of dust.  I had to avoid collision and  got out if sorts too.  Made two 360’s and ended up facing the correct way on track left. It was a dangerous spot.  . Took literally two minutes of cranking motor until it cleared and fired up (just as safety truck arrived to assist).   I took off but, a whole lap down.    I saw black flag at next station (acknowledged it - thinking  it was for me) then recognized that every flag station had a standing black flag.  I wondered why that was needed.  Yes, there were a few cars with mechanicals  on course but, they were very safe and off line.

I’m excited to let you all be the first to know that my video of the 2019 Kastner Cup race is now available to watch on my YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/iLo1u5ZjNmI

I hope I was able to capture even a small part of the spirit of the event. As well as footage from my own cameras, there are shots generously provided by drivers. The race portion consists of nine different camera angles, all synchronized to real time to give a blow-by-blow account of some very exciting racing.

If you enjoy it, please help me do more by subscribing to my YouTube channel and sharing it with your friends.

If you are on Facebook, please also follow my page at https://www.facebook.com/ClassicMotorFilms/ to get updates on future projects. I have plans for other videos related to the event, so it’s not too late if you have footage that didn’t make it into this video.

On both pages there is other stuff on Triumphs which I hope you will also enjoy and share.

I was truly honored to be given the opportunity to create this video, and overwhelmed by the generosity and support of everyone I met over the week-end.

I’d especially like to thank Joe Alexander, Cregg Cowan, Shawn Frank, Tony Garmey, and Curt Johnston as well as all the racers who so generously provided footage.
