The TR6 and the GT6 plates are not the same....at least not as we manufacture them in Iowa. We have two part numbers.

I was unaware that the TR6 plate would bolt onto the later Spitfires.

Perhaps some can summarize the potential interchanges?

In the mean time, I had inquiries for a FOT Prices. Good for a week. Here’s your chance. We’ve sold a few plates for Conversions, but didn’t realize there was that much interest.

GT6. Rear Plate. $75 plus shipping
TR6. Rear Plate. $75 plus shipping
Spit. Rear Plate. $65 plus shipping

TR3. Front Plate. $125 plus shipping

Morgan $115 plus shipping
TR6/GT6. $ 60 plus shipping

Big Discount. And all in stock.

Thanks,

When I was installing the tr6 box into the gt6 motor there was a bolt or pin hole missing on the factory plate. I ended up using the tr6 alloy plate on the gt6 motor with the tr6 box. The aftermarket alloy plates for tr6 and gt6 are the same. At least all that I have seen.

Between the early and late four cylinder engine plates they will all bolt on however I believe the later plates have an extra bolt hole or two vs the early 4 cylinder.
