[Fot] valve shims and springs

Yes. I'm sure that is what's happened here.  The shims are too soft.  The golden shims are hardened and probably grade8 with no stampings or identification. Golden color same as grade 8 hardware. The other shims are stamped, valve spring shim and Houser, Blufton, Ind.
