[Fot] Perhaps the best GT6 Racing axle ever made.

My GT6 came to me with Corvair stub axles, GM bearings, modified uprights, coupled to Spicer sliding half-shafts and u-joints.  I’ve had them apart several times, crack tested, new bearings every few years. Never an issue.  I have in-period drawings for the conversion, should anyone want them, though Corvair stub axles are getting scarce.  I have the parts to build a spare set, but never had the machine work and welding done to the uprights.  Photos of the stub axle, and a modified and stock upright are attached.  
Seems like there were a variety of successful solutions.
