[Healeys] weber air leaks.

Before going to the rolling road, I have to cure spitting from the rear
carb, nearest the bulkhead. I've done the old "Easystart" spray trick,
coincidentally a recent thread, and established that there is an air leak.
Tightening the bolts doesn't help.

Now, I'm using MISAB(?) anti-froth rubber gaskets and those rubber block
between 2 cup washer thingies to mount the carbs onto the manifolds.
Frankly, I wasn't overly inspired by these fittings when they arrived and,
since fitting them and having an air leak, I'm even less enthusiastic.

I bought the manifolds from the States, from a supplier well respected by
all. They are the short type with a slight "goose neck". The kit came with
six ordinary flat gaskets, 2 per carb, for fitting carbs to manifolds. No
mention of MISABs or rubber complications. So.....how necessary are the
anti-froth things? Any ideas, suggestions and experiences would be very much
appreciated.

Simon
