[JAGNUTS] Brits by the Bus - July 19/20

Cal thinks that this should be running at about 180 degrees.  The temp 
guage does not have numbers only L-M-H.  The needle should be sitting on 
the M according to everything that I have read but it rises to halfway 
between the M and the H.  definitely too high.

I have subscribed to the xjs forum on the jag-lovers website and I will 
see what they can tell me.  Interestingly enough I found last night that 
there is almost no air being drawn in on the right side of the engine.  I 
don't know if that is related to the temp problem or not but I'll see what 
the guys on the forum say.

Hi Kevin;

  If that is 200 degrees fahrenheit with a 14 lb pressure rad cap, that 
would be within normal operating limits  for a modern engine. What does 
the 
needle on the temp gauge show?  Does the gauge show numbers or just a 
green 
area?
