While I see the way the door emblems bring attention to that area and =
the obvious difference a vehicle with one would have from other traffic =
on the public highways, I do not fancy sticking something on the side of =
my Jaguar SIII sedan as I feel (in my snobberish way - grin) that it =
detracts from the beauty of the vehicle and looks somewhat hooky. Now =
if it were on the side of my XJS, that's a different matter I suppose. =
(smile)

And as far as the front (I assume) license plate ideas? I really love =
them but my state for instance requires the front state licensing plate =
to be displayed and will more than likely get us some attention we don't =
wish to have here.

My vote is for the 5"-6" diameter vinyl window decal with the Tour logo =
& dates. It is unobtrusive, yet still identifies a vehicle as part of =
the Tour. It can be placed in either front window corner or behind the =
center mirror area. Then after the Tour it can always be displayed in =
the rear or side windows, as an owner may wish, as a constant reminder & =
advertisement for the NEXT Tour.

That's my $.02

  Hi All,

If we have a license plate, I prefer "Spiffy #2. But, I was thinking =
some sort of adhesive decal for both doors, something like they use for =
the Colorado Grand or Copperstate 1000. See attached picture. This =
type of identification stands out and really let's people know these =
cars are on a tour.

We had a MG club from Ohio do a 5 day tour and stopped at our Museum =
last summer. They had decals on each car. See attached picture.

As far as entry fee goes, I don't mind paying $20 or even higher, to =
get a goody bag along with the signage that identifies the car is part =
of this tour. =20

Fazal and I (well Fazal really) thought that we should canvas the =
participants regarding the type of Tour identification badges you would =
like to see. Take a look at
    http://jonat.org/bob/grillebadge1.pdf
and let us know your preference (there is no link to it on the =
website). The SC's, ASC's, and EC have discussed this ad nausium =
(although this is the first screening of samples), and I think its time =
to let everyone in on the action. SC's and ASC's feel free to chime in =
too.

We'll tally the results at the end of the week(and likely ignore =
them, but what the hey), then follow up with costing etc.
