that participants become members of AAA or the Canadian
equivalent -- to get roadside service that (we tell them here)

I've added a new link on the webpage, called "Getting Ready". It =
links to a magazine article from a couple of years ago that is a pretty =
good read for getting the car ready for a long journey. It applies =
mostly to classics, but those with more modern cars should have a read =
as well. From the main webpage click on "The Tour", then on "getting =
Ready" at the lower left.
If anyone has information they would like to add to this, just drop me =
a line.
