<font face="Arial"><font size=-1>Bob: regarding the Victoria-Vancouver
segment: the routing is fine, but the times and schedule present a grueling,
cruel and unusual punishment.</font></font><font face="Arial"><font size=-1>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
It is my understanding that the participants would have several days in
this area, from the 16th of May to the 22nd (for the Van Dusen show). Furthermore,
the actual directions given within the cities are bizarre and will have
to be changed. So: the route is fine, but we are working here under the
assumption that there will be a few days at least in this area. It is not
possible, for example, to leave Whistler in the morning and to be on the
Van Dusen field in time for the show. People must be in Vancouver the night
before. If the timing is not the issue right now, but only the route, then
the general route is fine. We have been working on optional daytrips around
this area (well worth doing: the wine country, over to the wild Pacific
at Tofino, etc). No one is going to want to drive day after day.
